Model 2100 FM SCPC Modulator Datasheet - The Model 2100 FM SCPC (Single-Channel-Per-Carrier) Frequency Agile Modulator was designed to process and modulate an audio baseband signal onto a intermediate frequency (IF) of 52 to 88 MHz. This modulation process is the first in a series of block functions that comprise a satellite uplink.

The Model 2100 Modulator consists of a standard 19" x 1.75" (1 rack mounting space) chassis which houses the power supply and integrated modulator- audio processing assembly.

The Input and audio processing section of the Model 2100 provides for necessary audio processing (filtering, companding and emphasis). This is accomplished by on-board audio filtering and emphasizing. The companding process is accomplished by a plug-in subassembly on the main modulator circuit card. Plug-in companding is necessary since there are multiple types for various audio applications.

The Modulator section upconverts the output of the processing section to an IF carrier in the IF frequency of 52 to 88 MHz (full 36 MHz C-Band satellite transponder width). This section also facilitates the entry of keypad, frequency display, monitor points, alarm indicators and carrier switching.

Model 1102 FM SCPC Demodulator Dual Channel Datasheet - The Satellite Systems Model 1102 is a dual channel SCPC (Single Channel Per Carrier) Analog FM demodulator which is frequency agile over a 1210 MHz band from 940 MHz to 2150 MHz. Each channel of the 1102 can independently select any frequency within this range on 10 kHz steps. Frequency selection, Audio level, Audio muting, and RF Level adjustments for each channel are made via front panel keypad and display or Remote Control via the user selected RS-232 / RS-485/422 / or Ethernet.

Model 2700 1:1 Redundant Switch Datasheet - The Model 2700 1:1 Redundant Switch is an intelligent Baseband Switch. The Intelligent Baseband Switch is capable of manual control of two devices that use an intermediate frequency (IF) of in the range of 5 to 200 MHz using the outputs of device 'A', device 'B', or combined outputs of both devices 'A+B'. It is also capable of automatic control of two devices, using the output of device 'A' for Primary signal, and switching to the output of device 'B' in the event of a failure in device 'A', or vice-versa.

The Model 2700 1:1 Redundant Switch can be used in conjunction with any device that uses an intermediate frequency (IF) of 5 to 200 MHz. This includes the 2100 series of FM SCPC Modulators, 4500 Series of Downconverters, and both the 3430-70 and 3430-140 Series of Beacon Tracking Receivers, as well as many other products .
